Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

I love brussels sprouts! I think they are the perfect vegetable, they are cute, easy to eat and since not everyone likes them there are always lots of extra ones rolling around. I grew up eating brussels sprouts and so I never had to get over the stigma of them, but I'm guessing most of you aren't crazy about them. This recipe is super easy and the results are amazing. I made these on Christmas day and there wasn't a spare sprout to be found. Go on give them a try, you might be surprised at how yummy they are.

Ingredients
Brussels Sprouts
Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Sea Salt
Fresh Cracked pepper

Preheat oven to 375. Peel the beat up outer layers of the brussels sprouts off. Trim the end off and then cut each sprout in half. Toss in a bowl with enough olive oil to evenly coat, then add balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste. Lightly oil a sheet pan, then spread brussels sprouts out with cut sides down, roast for 15 minutes. Flip the sprouts over and roast for another 10 minutes. That is all folks! Pull them out of the oven and dump into a serving bowl and watch them disappear.

Enjoy!

  3. LOVE roasting Brussels sprouts! I have made them this way before and agree that they are a winner! I've been known to sprinkle a little freshly grated parm cheese right at the end their cooking time - YUM!
