Avocado Dip

Happy New Year!
I hope you and yours are having a fantastic family day!

I don't know about your house, but currently my home has 2 large screen televisions blaring 2 different college football games; (GO GATORS) and my husband has strategically placed himself so he can see both games. We love to watch football and what's better to eat during games than chips and dips? My father has perfected this simple recipe and it's a crowd pleaser. This recipe is known as a 'hover dip',  this is where the kids hover around you while you make it, so they can eat it the minute it's done.

Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
1 large container cottage cheese (small curd)
1 large container sour cream
cracked pepper to taste
salt to taste
Ruffles potato chips (the chips must be sturdy because this dip is heavy)

Peel avocados and mash them in a bowl, add equal parts cottage cheese and sour cream. Mix together. I like a lot of pepper but add pepper to your own personal taste. You may not want to add salt since potato chips are quite salty, but the dip seems to taste better if you add a pinch of salt to it. Serve immediately with potato chips, this dip doesn't save well. (usually there isn't any left)

Enjoy!
